Kickstarting creative community building in the nation’s capital with Creative Mornings.
In 2011, Ottawa's creative community was fragmented and difficult to find. We applied to bring the city into CreativeMornings, a global community built around creativity and connection, and were granted the 26th chapter.
Every single month, we brought a growing community together for coffee, breakfast, and an inspiring creative talk. Along the way, we built relationships across speakers, sponsors, creative professionals, and hundreds of regular attendees—creating the connections and momentum needed to grow a more connected creative community in the city.
More than a decade later, Creative Mornings Ottawa has hosted hundreds of monthly gatherings, created thousands of new connections, and become an established part of Ottawa's creative community.
